New School: Ready to Open

I am delighted to inform you that our new school build is nearing completion. As you are aware the building has been delayed by poor weather and some ground work issues, but we are now looking forward to taking possession of the keys on the 13th of December.

In order for us to safely move all students into the building on the 6th of January, we will close the school to all students at 1pm on Wednesday 18th December for the Christmas holidays. This will enable us to move everything safely into the new building and ensure that there is sufficient time for staff to have the required training on the new technologies we will be using and prepare their teaching areas, students will start back on the 6th January at normal time.

Whilst I appreciate that this is not ideal, I do hope that by adding this to the Christmas holidays it will cause minimal impact on families and our students.

Over the next two weeks we will be undertaking visits to the new building with groups of students and we are also hoping that we will be able to have our school Christmas Lunch in our new canteen on the 17th of December.

Can I take this opportunity to thank all parents for their support of the school whilst the building work has been underway, we really appreciate your support and patience with parking and provision during this time.

I look forward to inviting you all to our official opening in the Spring Term.
